DECEMBER 26TH 2025

Done a lot of dumb stuff from 2022~2025, mainly being a neet trying to be successful in a small business online and failing over and over again.
That sounds pessimistic, but the failing part never bothered me; in fact I realized I don't really have the passion for it. Or, you know, the drive.
Like in Jujutsu Kaisen, when Sukuna said to Jogo "But you lacked the hunger to take hold of your desires"?

Yeah, I felt that in my bones.

This is probably going to be the last Devlog of the year. Well, obviously.

What am I doing

I'm wanting to make a text based game. Something like a PBBG (Persistent Browser Based Game), but without the whole login shnanigans. I don't really have a goal with this, if I'm being honest; I just want to make something fun, something I've been wanting to make but been putting it off consistently.

I've been making the draft for it and whooo boy it's a lot, especially since I'm wanting to add so many variables.
Mainly because I always had a pet peeve about options never mattering in games. Like no matter what you choose, the story just continues on it's default story anyways. And I get it, it's a lot to think about; but I want my choices to matter. I want mostly every choice and everything that you do in the game change something about it going forward, no matter how small -- basically like real life.

Also, I'm planning on making it in twine and I want the game to be open source. So that's gonna be fun to show to the world.

What's this website about then

Honestly, it's to stay on track. Like an accoutability partner but an accountability website... dev log... blog... whatever.
And, in the future, to be motivated by what I've written and done, maybe.

And to be honest, I made this website impulsively. I had no plan for this what-so-ever. I just thought... hey, I'd love to do a dev log for this thing I'm making.
It was either I sign up for a blog writing website that had way too many ads, use a forum, use wordpress which is way too sophisticated for what I wanted to do, or go to neocities and just... write without needing to worry about decorations.

Going forward

I'll update this website when I feel like it. Maybe I'll even add a small wiki for my game someday.
